What are brain-waves anyway? How does your brain control emotions by these waves? The patterns of electrical activity occurring in the brain are known as brain-waves.
Whenever we think, move, feel or remember something, our neurons (brain nerve cells) become activated. The electrical activity of neurons causes the formation of brain-waves that have different frequencies with different efficiencies in different states.
Brain waves are divided into several types based on frequency, for each of which a conventional name is specified. Each of the brain waves is responsible for controlling and influencing a part of human mental, emotional and behavioral functions.
Here are the most important categories of brain waves chosen for this article:
1- Beta waves: In the waking state, these waves are active. These waves have a great impact on the process of attention and concentration, memory, thinking. Beta frequency is more than 12.5-30 Hz per second.
2 – Alpha waves: in conditions of consciousness, inner peace, mental readiness, deep thinking and when the eyes are closed, these waves are active. The alpha frequency is between 8-12 Hz.
3 – Theta waves: These waves play an important role in creativity and sensory perception, inner focus and memory. Theta waves are between 4-8 Hz.
4 – Delta waves: These waves are observed in the state of deep sleep and unconsciousness. The frequency of these waves is 0.1-3.5 Hz.
Traveling between brain waves-mind body connections
When we first wake up in the morning with some level of unconsciousness, we are in the alpha state. We switch to a beta state with full awakening during the day. When we are in deep meditation or the initial stage of sleep, we are in the alpha state. Once we fall into deep sleep, we reach the state of delta.
All data that enters the brain is processed in beta mode and enters what it wants into the right hemisphere. When we enter alpha mode, the information that enters the brain goes into the left hemisphere without being processed.
Waking up early in the morning with a nap in the afternoon brings coordination between the brain waves of the right and the left hemispheres as you move from the beta state into the alpha state. Entering the alpha state mid-day allows the body and mind to heal and communicate better.
The gateway to inner peace
The alpha state is the gateway to getting in touch with your inner soul via prayer and deep meditation. We cannot enter the alpha mode while being fully awake mentally. This is why people around the world prefer to pray and meditate in darker environments.
Yes, you can influence your mind, emotions and behavior
The Left Brain is more logical, verbal, mathematical, structured and rational.
The Right Brain is more emotional, intuitive, creative, and thinks in pictures.
The right hemisphere is the place responsible for self-criticism, self-knowledge and spiritual experiences. The right brain is in contact with the cosmic consciousness which makes it more creative. Wherever we experience an emotional issue, the right hemisphere creates the solution. Wherever there is conflict and inconsistency, the right hemisphere creates harmony and balance.
Bringing the mind into the alpha mode helps you maximize the power of the right hemisphere of the brain. Our brain is in the highest state of indoctrination in the alpha state; Like someone who has been hypnotized.
Normally twenty minutes before sleep and twenty minutes after waking up, our brain is in a state of hypnosis or the alpha state.
At the alpha state the thoughts we have in our heads influence our post-awakening experiences and events.
The key to successfully and positively influence your mind, emotions and behavior is to have a calm alpha and delta. You can achieve this goal by having positive thoughts and total calmness twenty minutes after waking up and twenty minutes before going to bed at night. This is exactly how highly successful and spiritual people around the world control their subconscious mind and attract positivity from the universe.
How can your reach alpha peak and reach total mind body connections?
The highest levels of alpha appear at the moment you fall asleep and the moment you wake up. When the brain is at complete rest so it’s not processing visual information, alpha waves peak.
You may be surprised, but most of the events in your life depend on the thoughts you have in your alpha state. Remember that the power of indoctrination is great in this state and the subconscious mind accepts it without any filter.
